Andy Smith, Advent’s newest Experience Designer, is a Tennessee native and grew up in Dickson. He graduated from Auburn University with a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Architecture, Design and Construction.

He previously worked as a pre-press specialist at George P. Johnson and is clearly an entrepreneur at heart having founded his own creative firm, Quill + Hatchet.

In his “spare” time he enjoys working on projects and renovations around the house and is an avid foodie and brewery connoisseur (he even served as manager at the House of Brews for two years).

Andy also likes to game. “Just like every other millennial I play COD and dabble in Halo with the boys when I can, just to keep that nostalgic joy in my heart.”

His newest and most important role is being a daddy to six-month-old baby Ollie. He and his wife, Erica, also have two German Shepherds.
