Ben Weinrib is Advent’s Story Content Manager, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and now based in Nashville. A Vanderbilt University graduate with degrees in economics and psychology, Ben brings editorial experience from MLB.com and has contributed research and fact-checking to Advent since 2019. He’s most proud of his work on the University of Texas Athletics Hall of Fame and aspires to visit all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums—he’s already seen 19.​

Ben’s passion lies in capturing personal stories and sharing the impact people can have on one another. In his free time, he enjoys sports, music, movies, travel, and cooking, with a particular love for thrillers, comedies, and late-2000s hip-hop and R&B. When he is not working, he is cheering on the Boston Red Sox, Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, and Vanderbilt Commodores.
