Preston Strop is Advent’s Experience Designer, bringing his creative eye and thoughtful approach to every project. An Iowa State University graduate with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design and a minor in Illustration, Preston hails from Rosemount, Minnesota and now calls Kansas City home. 

Preston’s design philosophy centers on personal immersion to craft environments that spark reflection, wonder, and genuine connection. Inspired by people and the desire to belong, he aims to uplift and move others, leaving lasting impressions with every project.

An Eagle Scout and devoted community volunteer, Preston serves as treasurer for the Knights of Columbus and supports several ministries at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Kansas City. Outside of work, Preston enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, and exploring Kansas City with his wife Betina; you might also find him swing dancing, playing board games, or watching romantic comedies. A proud Green Bay Packers fan, Preston treasures time spent with family and the adventures they share together.
